Official, Andor Will Continue to Season 2!

After the success of the Mandalorian series, Boba Fett, and Obi Wan Kenobi, Lucasfilm and Disney released a new series called Andor. As the name implies, Andor tells the adventures of the main character, Cassian Andor.

Maybe geeks still remember the character that appeared in the movie Rogue One. Well the Andor series tells the life of Cassian Andor long before what happened in Rogue One.

The series itself tells the journey of Andor who must face the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. The series takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Diego Luna returned to play the character Cassian Andor, and he was met with several new actors such as Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller.

While the first season isn't over yet, Lucasfilm and Disney have long-term plans for Andor. Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy confirmed that Andor Season 2 will be made. Gilroy has also provided a list of directors who will serve in the second season later.

Arie Kleiman, Janus Metz, and Alonso Ruizpalacios will direct several episodes of Andor Season 2, and they will replace the old directors who served in Season 1 such as Toby Haynes, Susanna White and Benjamin Caron.

We still don't know how many episodes the second season will have. If the total episodes are the same as the first season, which was 12 episodes, it's likely that each director will work on 4 episodes.

It is also still unknown what story will be presented in the second season, considering that currently the first season of Andor is still continuing. In the last episode, we can see how Cassian Andor gets a prison sentence for several years after dealing with Imperial troops.

In that all-white prison, Cassian Andor must devise a plan so that he can be freed. He began to form alliances with other prisoners to escape.

The first season of the Andor series still has 4 episodes left, which means the series will end on November 23, 2022. Let's just wait, guys for the release of the latest episode of the Andor series later.

THANK YOU.
