This is Kang Most Dangerous Variant, Doom the Annihilating Conqueror!
This is Kang Most Dangerous Variant, Doom the Annihilating Conqueror! |
Recently it seems that the name Kang the Conqueror has become much more popular than since he debuted in 1963. This can happen because Kang (Jonathan Majors) is certain to be the big bad villain of the MCU Multiverse Saga which is said to have many variants. Well, in Marvel Comics itself, something similar has actually happened in the universe. Where one variant of Kang known as Doom the Annihilating Conqueror really managed to conquer the world. Who exactly is this extremely dangerous variant of Kang? Let's get straight to the point!
Marvel 3 Big Bad Villains Combine
First of all, we need to note that this variant of Kang is from an alternate universe and doesn't seem interested in mastering the multiverse, at least for now. First told in the Fantastic Four Vol comics. 4 #13 (2013), Doom the Annihilating Conqueror is basically a combination of three big bad Marvel villains at once, namely Kang, Doctor Doom, and Annihilus. It all started with Doom forming an alliance with Kang and Annihilus while the Fantastic Four were traveling into space.
Since then, these three formidable villains have managed to conquer the world, while getting 'little' resistance from the Future Foundation, the temporary replacement for the Fantastic Four. Which consists of a number of superheroes, including Ant-Man, Medusa, She-Hulk, and Darl Deering. When the original Fantastic Four returned, it was only then that Kang, Doom, and Annihilus felt real resistance. Not to be outdone like most of his variants in the multiverse, Kang then uses his technology to join Doom and Annihilus, becoming the most dangerous variant called Doom the Annihilating Conqueror.
With the help of Ant-Man, who is enticed by a way to bring his daughter back to life, Doom the Annihilating Conqueror manages to defeat the Fantastic Four. Including other superhero teams, such as the Future Foundation, even the Avengers and X-Men. Even more terrifying, Doom the Annihilating Conqueror killed everyone, except the Human Torch who fled from his universe to spread the word so that similar events never happen again in other universes.

Complete Super Power
In fact, each of Kang, Doom, and Annihilus is strong enough to be a threat in the universe. However, after they merged into Doom the Annihilating Conqueror, you could say the power of this Kang variant was even more dangerous and deadly. Just like Doom from the main universe, Earth-616, he also has a very great ability to combine magic and technology. For example, issuing an electric field from each part of his titanium armor. Where this ability is proven to be able to kill any superhero who touches it.
Then for those who don't know, Annihilus himself is a cosmic supervillain whose main strength is the 'accelerated-growth element'. Where this ability allows him to increase his strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, and even size very quickly and without limit. That's why Doom the Annihilating Conqueror can increase his body size until he can defend against many superheroes at once.
While the contribution of Kang himself is the technology, where Doom the Annihilating Conqueror is seen equipped with various sophisticated equipment and weapons. One of them was the force-field technology that allowed Doom the Annihilating Conqueror to cast an energy shield that no attack could penetrate. With all he has it makes quite a bit of sense why this extremely dangerous variant of the Kang mix could conquer the world with such ease.
Potentially Appearing in the MCU?
Although the story in Marvel Comics is fairly short, the impact of the appearance of Doom the Annihilating Conqueror is huge. Where the Human Torch flees in fear to tell other universes how dangerous Doom the Annihilating Conqueror is. Because the same thing could happen in the MCU cinema universe. Previously, it was confirmed through the Loki series that the multiverse has the potential to present more Kang variants that are far more dangerous than TVA's CEO, He Who Remains.
Moreover, Marvel itself has scheduled the Fantastic Four film to air on February 14, 2025. That means Doctor Doom also has the potential to appear in the MCU. Now it's just a matter of waiting for signs of Annihilus' appearance, which historically has been the enemy of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. When all three have appeared, it is not impossible that Doom the Annihilating Conqueror will also appear in the MCU, whether in the alternate universe or in the main universe.
That's a discussion about one of the most dangerous Kang variants in the Marvel Universe, Doom the Annihilating Conqueror. From the origin story as well as his strength, it is quite clear that he is a very dangerous enemy for the Earth and even the universe. Speaking of Kang the Conqueror, next year on February 17th, he will also reappear in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumia. When the time comes, we will see an overview of what the greatness of a Kang variant in the MCU looks like.
THANK YOU.
