5 Imitation of Batman at Marvel Universe! |
We cannot deny that Bruce Wayne alias Batman is one of the most popular DC comic and superhero characters in the world. The existence of the Gotham superhero who made his debut in 1939 has indirectly inspired many writers and illustrators, including perhaps Marvel comic artists, who then present similar characters with hope of being able to have the same popularity. Starting from his dark appearance, to its tragic origins, here are five Marvel characters who are very similar to Batman!
Nighthawk
First introduced by Marvel as part of the Super Squadron Supreme team, Kyle Richmond alias Nighthawk has a lot of similarities with Batman from DC Universe. Starting from a dark costume complete with a half -face mask and a large robe, to a weapon that is very similar to the Batarang, from the beginning Nighthawk was intended to become a Batman parody at the Marvel Universe. In fact the Supreme Squadron Team itself is based on the Justice League, whose members consist of Hyperion (Superman), Power Princess (Wonder Woman), Doctor Spectrum (Green Lantern), Whizzer (Flash), Amphibian (Aquaman), and many more.

HAWK-OWL
Because it is not too famous, maybe now not many fans know that in Marvel Universe there is actually a superhero named Hawk-Well whose actions are similar to Batman. The character named Jack Danner is told as a rich person who spends his time traveling around the world to learn various martial arts, before finally returning to Chicago to become a masked superhero. In addition to his abilities that are similar to Batman, Hawk-Well also has his own robin named Woody, where they both work together to defeat many groups of criminals in alternative universities that are often called Ultimate Universe.
Dark Claw
As you can see in the picture above, Dark Claw has a costume that is more or less like a Batman, the difference only lies in the sharp claws coming out of his fist. Interestingly Dark Claw itself is in fact the character of Amalgam Universe, DC and Marvel collaboration that combines Batman characters with Mutant Wolverine. That is why his appearance looks like describing the two characters who are equally popular in the world of superhero comics. The mysteriousness of Batman which is combined with wild nature of Wolverin, in the end instead actually gave birth to the most intimidated superhero throughout history.

The Shroud
Shroud is the next Marvel character who has a lot of similarities with Batman. When he was a child, the character named Maximillian Coleridge had to watch his parents killed with sadistic. When he was an adult, he then decided to study various martial arts from Cult of Kali. After feeling everything needed to avenge his parents, he later became a mysterious vigilante named Shroud. Although the shroud is described as having the power of Darkforce Dimension, but the rest he is just a Batman variant that exists in the Marvel Universe.
Moon Knight
When talking about who Marvel's superhero is equivalent to Batman, many fans will immediately remember Moon Knight. In the character both cannot be equated, especially because Moon Knight has multiple personalities, such as Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley. But in strength and actions, Moon Knight is known as a robed superhero who often actions at night like Batman. Plus he is also often seen fighting using various gadgets and sophisticated vehicles, such as Crescent Dart throwing weapons that look like Batarang and Mooncopter which are more or less the same as batwing.
Those are the five Marvel characters who have a lot of similarities with Batman from DC Universe. Marvel Comics himself never clearly explained that the five characters were inspired by Batman, but many fans who had read the story they actually felt confident in that. Where the origins, actions, strengths, and their appearance, make the fifth reasonable enough to be called the Batman variant of the Marvel Universe. What do you think, Geeks? Approximately of all these characters who is the most similar to the Cired Crusader DC?
THANK YOU.
