The Mutants that have been confirmed to be present in the MCU |
Even though they haven't been officially introduced by Marvel Studios, several Mutant characters have been confirmed to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since Disney managed to acquire the 20th Century Fox production house, fans can't wait to see Marvel's properties that will appear in the MCU, namely the mutants.
As geeks know, the X-Men and other mutants were bought by Fox to appear in their various films. However, after Disney later acquired Fox, the property finally returned to Marvel's hands through Marvel Studios. And the fans can't wait for the appearance of the mutants. Even so, slowly Marvel Studios itself has presented several characters that have been confirmed to be mutants. Anyone?
Kamala Khan
In fact, in the comic story itself Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel is technically an Inhuman. However, the MCU seems to provide a change from Kamala's origin where she is confirmed to be a mutant. This is known from what is presented in the story in the Ms. series. Marvel, where Kamala manages to get her super powers from space technology.
What's interesting is that Bruno's character had time to do research on Kamala's DNA. He also came to the conclusion that Kamala's DNA had a "mutation" which confirmed that Kamala was a mutant. Based on that, Kamala is technically the first mutant in the MCU. Kamala is also never told to join the X-Men team in the comics, but this could change in the MCU.

Namor
Namor is one of the first mutants introduced in Marvel Comics stories. Since his first appearance, Namor has indeed been introduced as a Mutant and he is even considered one of the strongest mutants. In the MCU itself, after Kamala Khan officially became the first mutant, Namor then became the next character to be confirmed as a mutant.
This was confirmed after his appearance in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Some clues about Namor being a mutant are from his strength, where since he was a baby he has had a pair of wings on both of his ankles. He can also fly using these wings. He also possesses extraordinary physical strength, which comes from his being half human and half Atlantean or Talokan.
Professor Xavier
In the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans were completely shocked by the appearance of a team of Illuminati heroes. However, what is noteworthy is that the team is not in the main MCU universe, namely Earth-616, but Earth-838. In that moment, Xavier appears as other characters, namely Reed Richards, Black Bolt, Maria Rambeau, and Captain Carter.
Even though Professor X's appearance in the film is only as a cameo, at least this provides a clue if the X-Men do exist (albeit in another universe) and are part of the MCU canon. Even though his character is later told to die as a result of Scarlet Witch, it's interesting to see how his character will be represented in the MCU version as a whole.

Wolverines
Apart from Professor Xavier, another X-Men and other mutant character that has been confirmed to appear in the MCU is Wolverine aka Logan. Actually, as geeks know, Hugh Jackman has decided to quit his character since 2017. However, shocking news appeared in 2022 yesterday where he would appear again in the film Deadpool 3.
So far, there are still no plot details regarding how Wolverine will later appear in the MCU. However, from previous information it is known that Hugh Jackman will play two variants of Wolverine. Additionally, how Wade will then deal with TVA may shed some light on why Wolverine exists in the main MCU timeline and universe.
Deadpool
As mentioned above, Deadpool 3 will air and become part of the Marvel cinematic universe. This is the only film project from Fox that Marvel Studios immediately presented or worked on in a short time after the acquisition was completed. Ryan Reynolds will return to fill his old role as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool and several other old characters will also return.
Deadpool himself has been confirmed to have a mutant gene in his body after he was tortured by Ajax in the Weapon X program. However, instead of dying, Wade gets super powers in which he can survive. With Deadpool 3 coming out and becoming part of the MCU, this means that Deadpool can also be considered a mutant in the MCU.
Little by little Marvel Studios has started introducing mutants and various things related to it. Starting from references to mutants, which are called "mutations," to presenting characters who are already known to be mutants. It is still unknown what the future plans of Marvel Studios are regarding this matter. We'll just wait for the continuation of the story in the next chapter yo.
THANK YOU.
