This is Kang the Conqueror Power |
As the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania might be considered less successful in satisfying fans' expectations. Rare Superman Powers in DC Universe!
As information for those of you who may not have had the chance to watch Quantummania, actually this Kang variant from Jonathan Majors has been described as having very powerful powers. In addition to his propaganda and technology that managed to pave the way for Kang to master the Quantum Realm, he is also shown to have telekinetic abilities and is able to shoot energy blasts from both hands. However, none of Kang's powers in the final version of Quantummania look like the official concept images below:
Based on the series of official concept images of Quantummania by Aleksi Briclot, which has just been shared via his personal Instagram, it is revealed that Kang's powers are indeed removed from the film. According to Briclot, this power allows Kang to "summon several ghosts that resemble him, each of which can fire energy blasts in a different direction." The ghost that Briclot refers to in this concept image is a magenta colored physical energy that looks just like Kang.
In the comics, there really isn't a similar power that allows Kang to reproduce himself. Even so, considering that Kang is a time traveler who has access to various ages and various technologies, this is not something that is impossible for him. At some point in the MCU multiverse, he could have obtained or even created an advanced technology that would allow him to duplicate his appearance as well as his powers through condensed energy.
Kang's power, which was removed from the film Quantummania, can actually be said to be quite familiar if you are an anime fan like Naruto. This kagebunshin-like ability allows the Kang duplicate to copy the movements and abilities of the original body. The good news is that in the future there will be more Kang variants that appear in the MCU, it is not impossible that we can see this attractive power directly in future broadcasts. We'll just wait yoo.
THANK YOU.
