Disney Is Ready to Make a Horror Film from Children Cartoon Characters!

For nearly nine decades, the Walt Disney film company has produced countless fictional characters that have become popular among Hollywood fans. Call it Mickey Mouse, Simba, Moana, and many more characters who have represented the era of the Hollywood film industry, especially animation. Interestingly, recently a film production house, Red Shadow Studios, revealed that they will soon be working on a horror film that features several popular Disney characters as the stars.

The Disney characters in question are Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and Cinderella, where they will have a bloody twist as a villain in their respective films. Even though it has nothing to do with it, as a comparison, the Red Shadow Studios films which will be distributed by distributor Dolphin Medien will have a more or less similar concept to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) with an antagonist inspired by children's favorite characters. .


According to Variety, Red Shadow Studios describes the upcoming Winnie the Pooh: Death House as a horror film The Strangers meets The Purge. The plot of the film itself will tell of a school reunion in a remote rural house, where it turns out that the event was deliberately held by a cult that contains victims of past bullying. Later the victims of this bullying will exact revenge on the event guests who are none other than the people who previously bullied them.

For the film Peter Pan Goes to Hell, the plot will focus on a child who refuses to grow old by committing a horrific crime case a la Norman Bates from the horror novel Psycho. Meanwhile, another one, namely the upcoming horror film Cinderella's Curse will tell the evil version of Cinderella's daughter who is known to be kind and patient as a very cruel figure with lots of bloodshed caused by her.

Perhaps none of us have ever asked a cute and adorable character from Disney to be an antagonist in a horror film. But not a few are also quite enthusiastic about this eccentric idea.
