Kid Venom Becomes New Anti Hero with Japanese Manga Design!

In the world of comic superhero Marvel Universe, Venom is one of the former villains who is now more popular as a formidable anti-hero with his host Eddie Brock. In the story of the comic events of King in Black itself, Eddie and Venom are told to have gained a new title as symbiote gods in the universe. Now, ahead of the release of the Death of Venomverse limited comic series, we will have a new symbiote that is no less interesting than Venom, namely Kid Venom, who has a manga-style art style.

According to Marvel's official announcement, the Death of Venomverse comic, written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Gerardo Sandoval, is planned to be released for the first time in August. The plot of the comic events themselves will follow Carnage's quest to become King in Black. In the process, the evil symbiote will gather new powers obtained from a number of other Marvel villains, in which he does all of this in order to kill all Venom variants in the multiverse including Kid Venom.



Created by Japanese manga creator Taigami, Kid Venom who will be making his debut in Death of the Venomverse #2 is described as a new character “originating from 10th century Japan.” It all started with a young man named Kintaro who was willing to do anything to protect his village from a mysterious symbiote alien attack. To achieve his goal, he is even willing to unite with a symbiote named Clinter and become Kid Venom who has a myriad of new abilities.

For now, it has not been explained in detail what kind of powers Kid Venom has. However, if you refer to the Eddie Brock version of Venom, it is likely that he will have general symbiote abilities such as super physical strength, healing factor, and changing shape or at least removing symbiote tentacles. All of these abilities and perhaps the unique power of Kid Venom will be needed by Kintaro before Carnage comes after him.

Given that Death of Venomverse is a comic series that will chronicle the events of the Marvel multiverse, it's not impossible that Kid Venom will also meet other Venoms like the Eddie Brock version. Only time will tell what will happen to Kid Venom in the Death of Venomverse. What is clear is that Death of the Venomverse #2, which also involves mangaka Taigami, will be released by Marvel on August 16.
