In the DC universe, the Justice League acts like the glue that holds together all the stories about superheroes, such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and so on. The same thing also happened in the DCEU universe alias SnyderVerse, which unfortunately this year will certainly end with The Flash and several other films. Even so, fans' enthusiasm still seems quite high, especially recently when a poster for the canceled DCEU Justice League trilogy was revealed to the public.

In April, director Zack Snyder won permission from Warner Bros. to hold a SnyderCon event that covered a lot of his work on the DCEU. Some of the SnyderVerse mysteries that were revealed at the SnyderCon event were how Jared Leto's version of the Joker killed Robin and what are the interesting things from Ben Afflecck's Batman film which was cancelled. It doesn't stop there, the SnyderCon event has also shown a number of interesting posters, one of which has recently been revealed, namely the poster for the Justice League trilogy which will not be continued in the DCEU.


This noir-style poster was shared publicly by illustrator Shujiahui Zhang via her personal Twitter account some time ago. Of the many sketches he revealed, this Justice League trilogy poster is the best according to him. In this poster, Superman can be seen at the top, as if separating himself from the other members of the Justice League. Next to him is Darkseid, who was previously seen in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which will premiere on HBO in 2021.

The composition of this poster seems to want to emphasize the events of the credit scene in the film Zack Snyder's Justice League which is called Knightmare. The credit scene, which is meant to serve as a bridge between the first film and the two Justice League sequels, shows Superman becoming Darkseid's henchman. This then forced Batman Flash, as well as a number of other superheroes and supervillains to work together in order to defeat the terrible duet between Superman and Darkseid.

This poster for the canceled Justice League trilogy reminds us how ambitious SnyderVerse's plans were at the time. To the extent that Superman is one of the antagonists that must be faced by superheroes and supervillains at the same time. Will this new poster trigger the 'RestoreSnyderVerse' 2.0 hashtag again? It seems unlikely that this will materialize, because now DC Studios already has bigger plans with a future reboot of the DC Universe.
